Why tease with a funtion but then not let us use it to it's full extent? It's dumb and later on people will see how stupid it is. Just make them have an AOE restriction so portals cannot be to close to eachothere and or make them more expensive. Forcing people to move around the world all the time is a bad idea.Įven with portals i will have hubs at every given biome cuz i dont want to waste time with loadingscreens. Spend hours making a road network to different places and farms? Not worth. so what is the point in spending any time building a base? just a standard square with some boxes is all you need. Okay if each biome had hundreds of hours worth of content but there is only like 5 hours for each biome so far. So after i've spent tlets say 20 hours on my first settlement im just gonna turn away and leave it forever? no thank you. Originally posted by Werewolf:the idea in the game is to build several bases! That's all the problem is solved !!!! And you are closer to the resources every time and you can build a more expensive base every time and already from stone! Plus there are ships in the game, starting from the second there is a hold! If you remove the function and allow teleportation, then why would the game need bases and ships? And this is such a big piece of content. ![]() Now i just make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ shack, get the boss move to next area. With portals i can have my main abse and just funnel recources there and have a "castle" and then smaller villages out in the world. Now that i am farming for my next material why on gods green earth would i ever return to my first base? It's miles away from where i needs to be and everything i needed there can be gathered where i am now.īut now i dont want to put time and effort to make a nice base cuz i'll just move again at my next milestone. They should just make it so they are more expensive and dont return material upon deconstruction. I still use carts to farm wood and stone at my forest and mine. so no dont even make the choice real, keep it as is ![]() Originally posted by tikens:i dont agree with you, its a good way to force the player to use the ships and cart, and hopefully there will be mounts, to make the travel time faster, and i dont like the idea of getting the choice to, to turn it on and off, its like you irl you can survive on oathmeal but if you get the choice to eat steak instead then you obviously take the steak. ![]()
